Our Story
We are proud to be Poldertrade
Poldertrade is established by our founder and managing director, Ruben Zorge. He has many years of senior-level experience working for a Big Four company in Asia and the Middle East. Returning to the Netherlands with accumulated experience and expertise, Ruben has put a team together that consists of various backgrounds and know-how in the field of customs and international trade.
We are determined to work on a more personal level with our clients by being easily accessible, to the point and swift in assisting you.
Inspired by the typical Dutch landscape and combining our core trade advisory business, the name Poldertrade was invented with a windmill as logo. The Dutch word polder refers to low-lying tracts of land and is frequently associated with the Netherlands. The word has been globally adopted and illustrates the saying “God created the world, but the Dutch created the Netherlands”. It combines our firm’s heritage and core business.
